In the comics, Cletus and his symbiote are so merged that they're often of one mind rather than two with Cletus being the one in control, as with every other symbiote and its host.Actor Allusion: Woody Harrelson once again playing the male half of a murderous Outlaw Couple, anyone?.The '90s: The film opens in 1996 to show a teenage Cletus and Frances as she is being taken away due to her powers, and how her hatred for Mulligan started.20 Minutes into the Future: The mid-credits scene shows that Eddie and Venom are now in the Marvel Cinematic Universe contemporary to Peter Parker's public exposure as Spider-Man at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home, meaning they have travelled from 2020 to 2024.Venom: Let There Be Carnage contains examples of: Previews: Trailer 1, Trailer 2, Trailer 3, Red One Duel Trailer, Red One Safe Trailer.
